Quantity Indicator
This
Water Quantity Indicator is installed on the Boeing B747 aircraft
to measure the quantity of Potable Water in the aircraft tanks.
The level of water is determined by the sensor and converted
to an electronic signal by the transmitter sent to the indicator.
FEATURES
DISPLAY:
Single pointer with 250 Taut Band movement. Indicator has a
black dial with white dial markings and white pointer.
CONFIGURATION:
A 1 ½ inch round dial with square mounting flange.
COOLING:
No external cooling is required.
POWER:
Uses aircraft supplied 5 V lighting power on some configurations.
RELIABILITY:
Very reliable unit used on fixed wing aircraft for many years.

Quantity Indicator Capability
The
Water Quantity Indicator is a 1 ½ inch round dial with a square
mounting flange. The movement is a 250 Rogerson Kratos Taut
Band technology. The dial is black with white dial markings
and a white pointer. Some configurations of this indicator utilize
aircraft supplied 5 V lighting power. This system configuration
utilizes Rogerson Kratos designed sensor and signal transmitter.
The indicator has a electrical connector or screw terminals
depending on configuration.

Interface
The
indicator utilizes the aircraft 5 V lighting power on the configurations
where lighting is required. The indicator requires interface
with the Rogerson Kratos furnished sensor(s) and transmitter.
