Software Project Lead

POSITION SUMMARY:

1. Responsible for the plan, scheduling, and job assignments to the team members.   10%

1. Enforce the DO-178B process being processed on each software development project.   10%

 

1. Weekly meeting with customers to discuss the technical problems found in the software documents, SIL test, and flight test.   10%

1. Review the artifacts on software documentation, checklist reviews and traceabilities.    10%

 

1. Perform the leadership on the R&D activities; including new architecture design and development, tool selection for the next generation products.   15%

1. Weekly meeting with team members and irregular meeting if needed.   5%

 

1. Submit daily status report to the Management and Program Manager.   5%

1. Holding team member training periodically.   5%

 

1. Provide technical leadership and guidance to Software Engineers.   5%

1. Interface and resolve the issues with Management, Program Manager, customers, and FAA / TCA representatives to complete the DO-178B Software Certification on Software Life Cycle process, which includes Planning Phase, Requirements Phase, High-level design, Low-level design, Software Code Integration and Test, Released software, and Verification and Validation.   25%

 

 

Minimum Requirements

M.S. degree in Computer Science or B.S. degree in Computer Science + 5 years of related software engineering experience in the aviation industry.

Other Requirements: Ability to work with all levels of personnel.
