Integrated Avionics System (IAS)
The IAS is designed to take the best from our 5 ATI system and combine it with the best from our IIDS system. Add some more processing power and additional functions to create a total integrated "Glass Cockpit."
The IAS system utilizes 6x8 (10.4 Diagonal) AMLCD flat-panel technology and identical part number units to create fully reversionary, largely adaptable applications. The Avionic Display System removes the need for nearly all control heads or other round-dial instruments, including airspeed, altitude, radio altimeter and many more described below.
This adaptable system can be configured for one to six flat panel Display Units (DU). The system can be further adapted to largely analog systems, such as raw engine sensors, by adding our Display Acquisition Unit (DAU). The DU are identical and determine their function by the installed location (either PFD, MFD, or EICAS).
This 6x8 display system is designed to adapt to commercial helicopters to large military transport multi-engine aircraft.
Features
Display Unit (DU) is a self-contained system with identical part numbers. Function is determined by position installed.
Large 6x8 portrait display and high viewing angle makes for easy reading in any position, PFD, MFD, ND, Flight Planning, Mission Planning and tactical display information.
Sunlight and night readable; both manual and automatic brightness settings.
Built-in test with automatic reversionary modes, detection, and annunciations.
Full PFD, ND, and MFD functions.
S/W programmed bezel keys or can be used in combination with remote control.
System Components:
The Display Unit (DU) is a self-contained, identical part numbered, 6x8 AMLCD Avionics Display System and is the heart of the system. The DU can be utilized by itself, with other identical part numbered DUs, or with any of the following optional equipment depending on installation requirements.

The Course-Heading Select Panel is a remote panel that can be used in installations were access to the bezel buttons are limited or difficult. The control panel provides course, heading selection and can be used for additional display control functions.
The 429 system uses a Course Heading Flight Director that adds additional capability to the CHSP mentioned above.
