Hydraulic
Pressure Indicator
The
Hydraulic Pressure Indicator provides an indication of hydraulic
pressure over a circular scale for a nominal 0 to 4000 PSI dial
range. Dual circular scale indicators are available. Hydraulic
Pressure Indicators can be customized for any operation.
FEATURES
DISPLAY:
Indicator can be a single or dual circular dial.
CONFIGURATION:
A 2 inch round indicator with a taut band movement.
COOLING:
No external cooling is required.
POWER:
Nominally uses aircraft supplied 28 VDC and 5 V lighting power.
RELIABILITY:
Very reliable unit used on fixed wing aircraft and rotorcraft
for many years.

Hydraulic
Pressure Indicator Capability
The Hydraulic Pressure Indicator provides a hydraulic pressure
indication over a variety of dial ranges utilizing a Rogerson
Kratos' taut band movement. The input signal to the indicator
is from a low output level pressure transducer or a high level
output pressure transducer. For dual range, the indicator utilizes
dual taut band movements with identical pressure signal conditioning
circuits. The hydraulic pressure indicator has a nominal range
of 0 to 4000 PSI with an accuracy of 2% full scale. The indicator
withstands, without damage, the application of 4500 PSI. The
indicator warm-up time is less than 2 minutes and a response
time of less than 2 seconds. On the loss of power or signal,
the pointer(s) returns to a zero or below position. The indicators
are designed to meet the environmental requirements of DO-160
and MIL-STD-810.
Indicator
Circuitry
The Rogerson Kratos Hydraulic Pressure Indictor operates
with two types of indicator interface with the aircraft.
