Instrument
The
Rogerson Kratos Engine Instrument Product Line contains a large
variety of round and rectangular instrument products.
The products are separated into five basic categories: Temperature,
Torque, RPM, Engine Pressure Ratio, and Oil Temperature and
Pressure. This selection of quality instruments will meet
your requirements of up-to-date traditional engine instrumentation
for all types of aircraft.
FEATURES
DISPLAY:
Indicators available in 1 inch to 3 inch round, Mil Spec formats,
2 inch round flange mount, and rectangular displays to ARINC
408A.
CONFIGURATION:
Single, dual, and other multiple functions available with optional
digital readout.
LIGHTING:
A variety of lighting configurations are available.
ELECTRICAL:
Utilizes aircraft 28 VDC power and 5V for lighting.
MAINTENANCE:
Single unit design for easy removal and replacement.

Traditional
Indicators
The
Rogerson Kratos Engine Instruments are available in rounds of
1 in., 30 mm, 1.5 in., 2 in., 2 in. flange mounted, and 3 in.
They are also available in rectangular 2 in. ATI, 1 x 3 in.
ATI, 2 x 4 in. ATI, 2 x 3 in., 3 in. ATI, and 4 in. ATI format.
Dual formats are utilized for some functions, such as Engine
Oil Temperature and Pressure Indicator, cluster and edgewise
configurations. Digital LCD readouts are optional on most configuration
of indicators.

Common
Indicator Features
The
following features are common to the various indicators:
- All
indicators have EMI filter protection on all inputs and outputs.
- All
essential indicators have lightning protection circuitry.
- All
28 VDC power inputs have polarity reversal and transient voltage
protection circuits.
- All
28 VDC power inputs have a grounding area behind the bezel
for case grounding to improve EMI protection.
- Five
(5) Volts and/or 28 VDC power input is available for indicator
lighting.

Indicator
Dial and Pointer Markings
The
dial and pointer details and markings are tailored for the specific
function of the indicator. Green and yellow arcs and red
lines are provided to meet the requirements as defined by the
engine manufacturer.
