Traditional Indicators

The Rogerson Kratos Engine Instruments are available in rounds of 1 in., 30 mm, 1.5 in., 2 in., 2 in. flange mounted, and 3 in.  They are also available in rectangular 2 in. ATI, 1 x 3 in. ATI, 2 x 4 in. ATI, 2 x 3 in., 3 in. ATI, and 4 in. ATI format.  Dual formats are utilized for some functions, such as Engine Oil Temperature and Pressure Indicator, cluster and edgewise configurations. Digital LCD readouts are optional on most configuration of indicators.

Some of the engine functions monitored are:

    • Temperature
      • Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT)
      • Interstage Turbine Temperature (ITT)
      • Turbine Outlet Temperature (TOT)
      • Engine Inlet Temperature (EIT)
    • Torque
    • Revolutions Per Minute (RPM)
      • Gas Producer Speed (N1)
      • Engine Speed (N2)
      • Rotor Speed (Nr)
      • Transmission (Xmsn)
    • Engine Pressure Ratio (EPR)
    • Oil Temperature and Pressure

Common Indicator Features

The following features are common to the various indicators:

    • All indicators have EMI filter protection on all inputs and outputs.
    • All essential indicators have lightning protection circuitry.
    • All 28 VDC power inputs have polarity reversal and transient voltage protection circuits.
    • All 28 VDC power inputs have a grounding area behind the bezel for case grounding to improve EMI protection.
    • Five (5) Volts and/or 28 VDC power input is available for indicator lighting.

Numerous types of indicator lighting is available for selection:

    • · NON LIT - Aircraft Post Lighting
    • · Integral - Spray (Flood, Splash, Hub, Wedge)
    • · Transilluminated (Backlit, Translucent)
