Rogerson Aircraft Appoints Larry S. Smith as President of Rogerson Kratos

Irvine , CA , Jul 1, 2005 – Rogerson Kratos (RK) has named Larry S. Smith, an experienced aerospace engineer and manufacturing executive, as its new President, replacing Collin Marshall who has retired. RK is one of four companies operated by Rogerson Aircraft Corporation headquartered in Irvine , CA .

Following several distinguished years of engineering contributions to Rogerson Kratos in the early 1990's, Mr. Smith has now returned as President after taking a brief absence to successfully manage another aerospace company.

Mr. Smith has 12 years of Advanced Design Engineering experience with Boeing, as well as numerous years of progressively advancing Digital Avionics Design and Program Management contributions at Sperry Flight Systems. Advanced degrees are held by Mr. Smith from Cal Berkeley and Arizona State University

In his new position, Mr. Smith will manage and direct all of RK's avionics and aircraft indicator manufacturing/engineering activities at their 80,000 square foot ISO 9001 facility in Pasadena , CA

Mr. Smith one of several senior executives to join RK since the company announced it was strengthening its ranks as it ramps up production in both the commercial and military sectors.
